The Role and the Team

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced, high performing team.  This individual will be an integral part of the accounting team in many areas.  This role will report to the Director of Accounting and will be responsible for additional projects as needed by the upper management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and leading groups within accounting.  The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of US GAAP with experience in a wide range of GL functions, ERP system, SOX, etc. This is a great opportunity that will allow for career growth as the Company continues to expand!

Job Requirements:

Oversee the general accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger, account reconciliations, payroll accounting, fixed assets, & Inventory.Responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, i.e., journal entries, account reconciliationsManage and guide the GL team to execute accounting processes and support their professional growthReview balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for management and audit reviewCollaborate with the accounting team and cross functionally to enhance accounting procedures and systemsMaintain a strong internal control environment, updating controls and processes as neededManage the Fixed Assets and streamline the fixed asset process for efficiency and accuracyPromote a culture of improvement and operational innovationLead or participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting, as necessary.This role requires hands-on work in addition to reviewing the work of others.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accountingCPA is a plusMinimum of 7 years of general accounting experience in industry and/or a public accounting firm with a minimum of 3 years of management experienceStrong Excel skills requiredDemonstrate excellent working knowledge of US GAAPSuperior organization and verbal/communication skillsDetail-oriented with exceptional analytical and prioritization skillsExperience with ERP (MS Dynamics D365) and FloQast is a plus

Base Pay Range: 116,690.00 - 183,370.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 96,880.00 - 152,240.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 87,220.00 - 137,060.00 USD
