The Manager, Accounting Operations – Collections is responsible for maximizing WellSky's value through cash flow optimization via the prompt collection of clients’ accounts receivable. The scope of this job includes managing a team of collections professionals, identifying process improvements, and implementing best practices and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as primary expert for the status of accounts receivable and collections related targets and metrics by ensuring accounts with AR issues are surfaced to leadership in an efficient and timely manner and related account data is reconciled.Manage large amounts of client data and maintain collections cycle for all past due balances.Build and refine collections processes to maximize team resources to reduce churn related to delinquent billing.Lead the collections staff in the handling of client accounts receivable to ensure that the optimal DSO levels are realized based on given credit terms.Manage relationships and communication with third-party collections agencies, as necessary.Provide guidance and recommendations to the team when considering amounts to be written off, and work with appropriate departments to obtain approval and maximize cash flow.Provide month-end reports of key performance indicators of collections staff and prepare month-end closing materials and variance analysis on balances.Perform other job duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
