Job Description:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities revolve around managing and accessing staff performances and overseeing check disbursements. As well as maintaining daily, monthly, and quarterly objectives of the department while ensuring accuracy in operations. Trains and develops employees involved in disbursements.Performs annual performance evaluations.Carry out intercompany netting monthly.Perform monthly and quarterly journal entries for close tasks.Prepare 1099’s annually.Ensures teambuilding

Duties:

Oversees reports regarding cash flow, ensures correct payment are made in a timely manner and within the company policies.Verifies payment before Sr. Manger approval is given.Reconciles accounts payable total and general ledger with other applicable records.Manages unclaimed propertyFacilitates correct and timely preparation of visual management board updates.Ensures proper recordkeeping of purchases for periodic audits.Ensures employer identification number or social security numbers have been collected from all vendors to prepare and submit 1099’s.Ensures proper maintenance, and storge of records in case of audits.Preforms other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent5+ years’ of accounts payable experience5+ years as a leader or supervisor of minimally 4 direct reportsProficient with SAP - required to understand how to post, reconcile and pull reports in SAPCandidate must reside within a commutable distance to Brea, CA (corporate office)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Must have extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures.Excellent communications and interpersonal skillsProficient in Excel and OracleStrong data entry skills for expense reports. Strong planning and problem-solving skills.Must have a clear understanding of filing 1099’s.Ability to motivate staff.Quick response managementMust be flexible with in office hours.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
