Title: Manager, Accounts Receivable Location(s): Cleveland, OH Summary: The Manager, Accounts Receivable, is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's accounts receivable process. This includes monitoring customer accounts, ensuring timely invoicing, collecting payments, and resolving any billing or payment discrepancies. The AR Manager plays a key role in maintaining positive relationships with customers while ensuring the organization's cash flow remains healthy. plays a crucial role in the financial management of a company by overseeing and managing the accounts receivable process. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the organization receives payments for goods and services provided to customers accurately and on time. Primary Responsibilities: Invoicing: Work with systems team to ensure the generation of accurate invoices timely to customers. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes Review invoices to ensure they include all relevant details, such as product/service descriptions, quantities, prices, and payment terms.. Payment Processing: Record and reconcile payments received from customers. Allocate payments to the appropriate customer accounts. Collections: Implement and maintain effective collections procedures to ensure timely payment from customers. Contact customers with overdue accounts to facilitate payment and resolve payment issues. Management: Oversee daily operations and workflow within the AR team, setting clear goals and metrics to track performance Establish a collaborative environment to enhance team performance, develop skills, and ensure effective collections and customer service practices Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. New software implementation experience a plus, but not required Telecom experience a plus, but not required Physical Requirements: Jobs requires sitting for long periods of time Ability to work additional hours during month-end closes and audits
