JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Manager, Ad Sales Finance to join our Ad Sales Finance team. This role will manage headcount planning, forecasting, and reporting across the ad sales organization. You’ll partner closely with HR and business leads to align the staffing needs and costs.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Analysis & Daily Operations

Partner with HR and Sales leadership to manage position control, backfill requests, and organizational changesMaintain accurate headcount data and labor related costs in the financial systemBuild and automate headcount reporting and dashboards for business lead reporting

Monthly Close

Perform monthly financial close including expense accrual entries and general ledger reconciliationsPrepare monthly reporting and detailed variance analysis  Prepare variance drivers and commentary for executive reporting packages 

Forecasting

Assist with Budget/Forecast process – Update models with labor related costs; revise forecasts for monthly/quarterly submissions  Work closely with HR, Finance and Business Leads to gather forecasting inputs/assumptions

Sales Incentive Comp Plan

Bi-weekly distribution of management summary and individual sales incentive comp reports Processing of sales assignment changes and updating of unassigned accounts

Ad hoc reporting requests

Forecasting and reconciling quarterly and annual bonus expensesAssist in requirement gathering, implementation and continued development of Salesforce tool Callidus

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Accounting/Finance/Economics bachelor’s degree3+ years of experience in Public Accounting, Corporate Finance or Investment BankingExceptional attention to detailAbility to produce high quality deliverablesAbility to simultaneously manage multiple projects Ability and willingness to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environmentComfort working under tight deadlinesDiscretion working with confidential informationHigh level of professionalism and the ability to communicate and interact with all staff levelsStrong Excel skills and ability to manipulate large data sets

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $102,000.00-120,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
