POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, Administration & Training is responsible for the co-ordination and implementation for all Cage training, recruitment and induction of new team members.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To create concise training programs to fully educate new and current staff on all levels of the Cage & Count procedures and to perform the Cage & Count day-to-day operationsCreate precise training schedules which clearly state timetables to ensure all staff are trained consistently including regular testing and evaluations to ensure all staff are at the same level of knowledge before advancing onto the next stageEvaluate and review training for continuous improvement and identify training needs and prepare and administer training plans for the department, both at an introductory level and on an ongoing basis to ensure succession requirements are metIn consultation with the Senior Manager, Cage, Count & Credit, identify and implement business improvement processes and Building for Growth initiatives so as to streamline and fine tune the Cage & Count area in regards to recruitment, training & customer service.Assist with the development, maintenance and revision of policies and procedures pertaining to Cage & Count operations. Ensure all duties are performed in strict compliance with relevant policies and procedures .Maintain awareness of and report on matters consistent with the compliance and risk management program.Establish and maintain a strong rapport with our people and our customers, ensuring the provision of professional, timely and accurate servicePerform all Cage associated administrative duties as required, i.e. reporting and enforcing of anti-money laundering policies and procedures and assisting Senior Cage Management with the preparation of various statistical data for reporting purposesSupervise, coach and develop a direct rapport with staff to ensure performance and succession planning requirements are met, by identifying training requirements of our people and utilise various management tools, as well actively participate in the recruitment and selection of appropriate personnelAssist Senior Cage Management with the achievement of Key Performance Objectives for the Casino CagePeriodically work operational shifts to maintain knowledge and assist in peak periods.

Training plans and schedules are created and tested to efficiently educate staff on an ongoing basis in all Cage & Count proceduresBusiness Plan objectives are metPerformance and succession planning requirements are metDevelopment of clear and concise policies, procedures and protocols of the Cage & Count operationTimely and accurate recording of information and statistical analysis of information pertaining to the compliance, risk management, AML and Health & Safety programsConstructive relationships are built with external contacts, internal customers and team membersAdherence and execution of all relevant policies and proceduresStaff training manuals & schedules are maintained and updated when requiredMaintain outside liaisons with associated companies to ensure procedures are kept up to date

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

A sound knowledge of all Cage & Count proceduresA level of previous experience in a Supervisory / Managerial / Training capacity

Skills / Competencies

Must be able to proficiently communicate in EnglishAbility to teach, coach and recognise the progress of each individual staff memberAbility to speak confidently in front of an audienceRepresent the Cage, Count & Credit department in a professional manner in regards to recruitment, training and meetings.
