Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics

Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066

Duties: Conduct client facing analysis on campaign strategies and performance recommendations. Leverage Tableau Dashboards and Google BigQuery with Walmart first- and third-party data to provide end of campaign analysis and brand-level strategy recommendations. Present media insights during client calls with Walmart advertisers. Present media campaign performance reports and strategic planning consultations with clients. Conduct and present quarterly and annual business reviews for advertisers by providing a holistic analysis across Walmart products and advertising services with tools such as Walmart Ad Center, Google Ad Manager, Adobe Analytics, and The Trade Desk. Work with cross functional team (sales teams, measurement science teams, account managers, search performance managers, and campaign managers) to conduct campaign performance investigations on end-to-end measurement projects. Develop data-driven best practices and contribute to the development of analytics tools and platforms. Develop new tools and dashboards for data analytics leveraging Standard Query Language (SQL) and Tableau Business Intelligence Software. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Analytics (any), or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Analytics (any), or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.

Skills required: Experience creating and leading client-facing media analytics, including on camera and in-person presentations, to drive data-driven best practices, recommendations, and guidance. Experience performing hands-on analysis and conducting in-depth investigations with client and sales teams, leading, and executing end-to-end measurement projects, and making actionable recommendations to businesses. Experience developing integrated marketing strategies utilizing analytics and measurement with multiple priorities. Experience mining and manipulating data for digital advertising analytics using Standard Query Language (SQL) queries. Experience with data mining using Google BigQuery. Experience with digital advertising technology, including third party ad-serving and tag management solutions and programmatic ad buying platforms. Experience creating digital Onsite and Offsite Media Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Dashboards using Tableau Business Intelligence Software. Experience with omnichannel marketing, media attribution, and Sales Lift Return on Investment (ROI) measurement, including performance and awareness of online advertising. Experience with project management. Experience speaking to technical topics, including digital marketing analysis and machine learning models, and metrics to non-technical audiences. Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint to develop and present strategic, action-oriented recommendations. Experience with online advertising, targeting and measurement systems and methodologies including data utilization from Google Ad Manager, The Trade Desk, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Pinterest. Employer will accept any amount of graduate coursework, graduate research experience or professional experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $107,950/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
