WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The Manager, Advanced Quality is responsible for leading quality planning and assurance activities for new product development and continuous improvement initiatives at Masco Canada. This role ensures quality is built into products and processes from the early design phase through to production. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain—the Manager drives the implementation of advanced quality tools, manages risk assessments, and ensures compliance with customer and regulatory requirements to deliver high-quality, reliable products.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING? Lead quality planning activities for new product development projectsIntegrate quality standards and controls throughout the product lifecycleCollaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to align quality expectationsImplement advanced quality tools (e.g., APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP)Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential product or process failuresEnsure compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory quality requirementsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across products and processesSupport quality reviews, audits, and corrective action programsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical fieldCertification in Quality (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma, or equivalent) is preferredFamiliarity with industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)CRITICAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES5–7 years of experience in quality engineering or quality management within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of advanced quality planning tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, FMEA, PPAP)Proven leadership ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive accountabilityAnalytical mindset with the ability to assess data and implement effective solutionsEffective communication skills for engaging with teams, suppliers, and customersDetail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation capabilitiesProactive and process-focused approach to continuous improvement and risk mitigationWorking knowledge of regulatory and customer-specific quality requirements
