What you will do:
Lead and mentor others in driving positive outcomes to technical, business, and personnel problems based through the application of problem-solving and process improvement methodologiesExecute a robust talent offense by attracting, developing, retaining, and engaging top talent while driving personal/professional growth of individuals, the team and delivering high quality results with passion, energy and driveLead, mentor, formulate and work with the team to design, implement, evaluate, and optimize CV/DL/AI deployments as an integral part of AI-powered medical technologiesFoster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration within the teamCreate concise design documents and lead the team in making informed tradeoffs between model performance, latency, resource usage (memory/cpu/storage/IO), system architecture decisionsPromote a privacy and security first approach to software development and promote best practices in data management, data architecture, and data governance across teams and portfolio projectsResponsible for budget creation and contributing to higher-level R&D budget at business unit level, projections, and tracking activitiesWhat you need:
Required:
Educational Requirement of bachelor’s degree in computer science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Bioengineering or related field12+ years of work experience required with team leading experience of 5-12 membersA minimum of 4 years of experience in computer vision and deep learning / machine learning development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership roleStrong knowledge of deep learning, computer vision, machine learning, and working with edge-based / embedded computer vision applicationsExperience of working in projects with C++ and PythonExperience optimizing inference pipelines on edge devicesExperience working with libraries such as OpenCV, DLib, Tensorflow, TFlite, TensorRT, TorchScript, Boost C++ libraries for numerical computation, etcStrong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersPreferred:
Experience with medical devices and product development in a regulated industry, e.g., software developed under ISO 13485.Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale computer vision projects on time and within budgetFamiliarity with CV/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, OpenCV, PCL, TensorFlow, scikit-learn etc.Travel Percentage: None
