The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. Membership Portfolio Services is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. Launched in 2012, Amex Offers is a digital advertising platform that connects Merchants, Advertisers and brands with the tens of millions of American Express Card Members across the globe. The Amex Offers team develops strategic marketing partnerships that deliver – through the Amex offers platform - unique differentiated value to reach high-spending Card Members in the digital channels where they engage with American Express. Through this solution, we can help advertisers get laser-focused on who our mutual customers are, what they want, and how we can meet their needs - delivering deep insights and maximizing results.
How will you make an impact in this role?
This Manager position will be responsible for both setting the framework for Offers 3rd party partner growth and implementing new or growing existing capabilities such as SKU offers. He/She will report to the Director of Amex Offers Global Capabilities in the Amex Offers team. They will be focused on growing the business and our capabilities through scalable 3rd party partnerships and by activating new features and functionalities such as new offer types and budget tools. This role will work in partnership with many teams across the enterprise including the Amex Offers Team (Global COE, Sales & Sourcing), product development teams, engineering, analytics and strategy teams to identify, assess and set the framework for new capabilities and new revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and assess new capability partnerships and partner with teams to test and grow capability expansion opportunities. Lead vision for item-level (SKU) offers, including partnerships, capabilities, and framework for pilots. Lead business requirements for specific Amex Offers features and tools Opportunity sizing: Assess whitespace ideas and create business case proposals and justifications for new features or partnerships. Partnership Management: develop relationships with external partners and identify growth opportunities that align with the partner and Amex goals. Collaboration and Communication: work cross-functionally to identify and define opportunities and communicate requirements, timelines and launch plans accordingly. International Rollout: As part of the Global Center of Excellence, manage requests and enhancements for core global markets and assist with product rollouts in these markets.Minimum Qualifications
Experience working on a Loyalty product, Card linked Offers product or an Advertising product. Comfortable navigating in whitespace, researching and assessing competitive landscapes and building business proposals and frameworks. Experience taking a strategy or framework and launching pilot projects or products and know-how in establishing initial KPIs and other measures of success. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (and time-zones) across the US, EMEA, APAC and more. Proven track record of positively collaborating with and influencing partners in a matrixed environment to achieve outcomes. Ability to manage multiple business and technology workstreams, as well as the strong organizational skills necessary to do so. Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and manage through ambiguity and rapid change.Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
