We are looking for someone with:

An advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or another quantitative field.Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing data science to solve high-impact business problems.Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data manipulation techniques, particularly in the context of understanding customersStrong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for communicating insights.Practical experience with big data processing frameworks and platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Spark.Good communication skills – able to translate sophisticated data science concepts to technical and non-technical partners.Track record of implementing models into production with tangible business value.

Previous experience working with GenAI is an asset.

Nice to Haves:

Has intimate understanding of the business value chain and customer lifecycle for the projects they are supporting. Has fundamental understanding of the business as a whole.Knowledge of Gen AI, machine learning/predictive analytics such as time-series forecasting, regression (Linear, GLM …), decision trees etc. preferred but not requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstands company culture, cooperation & information sharing within the companyAdaptable and open to change with strong collaboration and communication skillsCommunicate results of work to business partner and recommend solutions to senior team membersConsider diverse perspective to build support of own ideas

On the job you will:

Understand source data and utilize large datasets to develop analytics solutions and visualizations to understand our customers, support customer retention program, cross sell and upsell, and generate business values.Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to address complex business challenges, leveraging various algorithms and techniques.Work closely with partners to gather requirements, design data models, and implement tailored solutions.Innovate and explore creative methods to source and utilize structured and unstructured data for building analytics solutions.Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI/ML.Strong ability to extract, transform, and stage data for consumptions.Present/visualize the data with relevant use of graphs and charts that are user friendly and easy to interpret by non-professional data in business intelligence such as PowerBI, Tableau.Develop automated and reproducible processes for extracting requested information from Enterprise Data Lake (EDL)/database systems.Communicates business analytics of moderate complexity to more senior team members and junior business partners.Coordinate with regional data office to ingest new data sources into data lake, develop and deploy data curation, dashboards maintenance and automation refresh setting up.Coordinate with the regional data office or data scientist peers in the Philippines/China to promote/spillover best practices and documentation in all analytic use cases.Actively participate on cross-functional project teams developing analytics enabled solutions both at the local and regional level.Other tasks will be assigned by line manager.
