Manager, Application Development (CRM) - Scottsdale AZ

Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on CRM Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our CRM solutions. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our CRM system meets the needs of the business and enhances our customer engagement strategies.

Responsibilities:

Lead technical implementation of Dynamics CRM overseeing a small team working with external partners.  Lead the development and customization of CRM solutions to meet business requirements.  Manage a team of CRM developers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Oversee the integration of CRM with other business systems and applications. Ensure the CRM system is optimized for performance and scalability. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of the CRM system. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in CRM and related technologies. To work collaboratively with IT to ensure robust plans are in place for business continuity and disaster recovery for Dynamics 365 CRM and supporting environments, to include policies and procedures. To work with other internal and external partners to achieve seamless end to end integration of all regular data feeds using APIs and our data integrations platform. Rolls out standards and objectives for the management of APLL's Logistics systems and technologies. Responsible for management of Logistics systems as per established Service Level Agreements. Oversee outsourcing of system operations capabilities where viable from technical and financial perspective. Build and sustain relationships with key vendors and technology partners to ensure APLL has a robust and diversified technology vendor pool which ensures competitive financial terms and performance outcomes for key projects. Oversee evaluation of vendor performance and take steps to address gaps by holding vendors accountable to deliver to agreed performance criteria.

Qualificiations:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in CRM implementation (Dynamics/Salesforce), development and management. Strong understanding of CRM processes and best practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of business process and data modeling as well as workflow design. Must have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to help negotiate priorities, and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as various business stakeholder groups, other IT teams, and vendors). Ability to understand and interpret business needs and translate them into robust technical requirements and effective solutions. In-depth knowledge of APIs and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Proven ability to simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts then explore and evaluate them systematically. Robust Agile Project Management and organization skills with proven ability to plan, schedule, resource and continually evaluate concurrent projects from initiation through to warranty. Robust testing and troubleshooting skills displaying diligence and tenacity to see operational issues through to root cause resolution. Good understanding of Change Control and the principles of change management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience as Dynamics 365 and PowerAutomate administrator, hands-on functional and technical consultant/architect. Experience with Dynamics CRM Customer Service and Sales implementation and development. Experience with Salesforce migration and implementation. Microsoft Dynamics CRM certification. Understanding of data visualization tools, preferably Power BI. Experience in the logistics & transportation, manufacturing, B2B service industries. Coding languages JAVA, Python, SQL, C#.

Candidates must be within 250 miles of an APL Logistics facility or office.

The typical starting salary range for this position is: $104,860 - $125,343.

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
