As the Manager, Asset Sales, you will contribute to the profitability of the bank through the execution of asset sales and development and implementation of late stage collection strategies, in order to improve recoveries while optimizing costs. You will work with credit risk and operational departments across the bank to analyze and identify opportunities to increase recoveries by performing asset sales and supporting the late stage collection strategy. In addition, you will identify the portfolio for sale, calculate the NPV and support the investors with information to have a better understanding of the portfolio for sale. You will support the Bank’s risk management strategies through effective first line management of the Asset Sale process as outlined in the Global Asset Sale Framework document. **Is this role right for you? In this role, you will contribute** **to the overall efficiency of the unit by maximizing net recoveries of accounts in assigned portfolio by** **:** + Lead the review and assignment of written-off accounts and preparing a portfolio for sale as outlined in the Asset Sale Framework document + Know and develop a better understanding of the late stage portfolio, in terms of volumes, recoveries dynamic, provisions methodology and forecast (methodology and calculations) + Based on the business interests and characteristics of the portfolios for sale make recommendations and prepare analysis on asset sale projects + Working in synergy with Collections team and other stakeholders throughout the asset sale process, from the understanding of the portfolio to post-sale activities + Reconciling the recovery payments and amounts sold monthly + Managing the contracts with the debt buyers and act as the contact through day to day interactions as applicable with those vendors + Provide support to the post-sale activities, such as identify of interim – direct payments, customer related issues, write off, etc. + Act as a Subject Matter Expert in all inquiries relating to asset sales by responding to inquiries and providing guidance and consultation to all stakeholders and product lines, Office of the President, Ombudsmen’s Office, General Counsel, Branch Network, GRM and other Executive Office departments. + Manage the activities of asset sales and the administration of their assigned account portfolios including the accurate and timely processing of all related matters received within assigned SLA. **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?
