Expertise and Skills You Bring
As a Manager, Audit Data Analytics & Insights, you will play a key role working closely with leaders and associates in Fidelity’s Corporate Audit team, customer-facing business units, and key data providers to find opportunities where data can provide insight into risk. You will participate in all phases of a data analytics project lifecycle – helping to frame the business question/hypothesis and relevant tests, identifying the appropriate data sources, sourcing the relevant data, performing sophisticated analytics, and reporting on the results.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in a software, analytics, or similarly technical field
At least 3 years’ experience working with data in relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2) and other big data environments (Hadoop, Snowflake, etc.).
At least 3 years’ of software development experience using languages COBOL, Java, .NET, Python, R, etc.
Have proven analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to determine solutions to unusual and complex problems.
Knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly in the workplace savings, brokerage, or institutional businesses.
Outstanding interpersonal/communication skills and a willingness to participate in Scrum teams.
Inherently good attention to detail, collaborative, and ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with cloud processing and data storage environments (AWS, Azure, other SAAS solutions).
Understanding of data exploration, visual analytics concepts, experience with BI (OBIEE, Power BI) and visualization tools such as Tableau.
Experience in an Audit, Risk, Compliance or Security function.

The Team
The Audit Data Analytics team is a part of a larger Data Analytics & Data Science team that partners across Risk, Compliance, Legal and Audit to provide insights into risk. It partners closely with Fidelity’s Corporate Audit by embedding team members into squads to delivery analytics solutions.
The base salary range for this position is $71,000-$112,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
