The B2B Marketing team creates differentiation for Mastercard by developing and executing marketing programs that use our brand investments and Priceless assets to drive acquisition, usage, and loyalty for our customers.
This role will be the merchant marketing lead for the Travel vertical, working with a wide range of merchant partners to help grow the business and the brand, while delivering value to the partner and our cardholders.

Role:
The person in this role will work closely with the internal account managers and directly with the merchant partners across this segment to:
•\tLead strategic marketing planning for internal account teams and to nurture collaborative business relationships with our external customers who are in the Travel Category (airlines, hotel properties, etc)
•\tIn partnership with Account Management team, identify strategic marketing opportunities and lead the concept development, creation of marketing sales materials and the delivery of world class experiential programs and usage campaigns in support of key Mastercard products, solutions and marketing platforms aligned to US business priorities
•\tExpand visibility and use of existing Mastercard Priceless Marketing assets and capabilities, including the priceless platform
•\tDetermine what needs are currently unmet and work with a cross-functional team to enhance our tools, campaigns, and capabilities.
•\tServe as the Mastercard brand and marketing capability advocate for this vertical: Play a critical role in demonstrating the value of our Priceless Brand campaign and other platforms to our partners, and leading on partnership innovation, branding at acceptance occasions including sonic and haptic integrations, and more.
•\tWork with account managers and customers to create custom marketing campaigns and Priceless Experiences to meet the specific needs of the customer.
•\tContribute to key team KPIs including revenue targets and customer channel marketing thresholds
Approach:
•\tServe as the key point of contact for and develop strong working relationships with account managers within US Market Development.
•\tProactively identify, develop and implement effective partner marketing programs in partnership with Mastercard Services, designed to meet customer objectives and Mastercard business priorities
•\tCreate and execute customized marketing programs by leveraging existing sponsorship assets and developing new solutions to support Mastercard business and marketing initiatives for existing and prospective customers.
•\tWork with internal customers, agency partners, and other parts of the marketing organization to execute initiatives.
•\tWork closely with fellow IMC disciplines including Issuer Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Sponsorships, Media, and Communications, both locally and globally, as well as our agency partners to execute initiatives.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
