Job Summary:

TouchNet is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead strategic initiatives that integrate the Onecard stored value solution with Global Payments (GP) Giftcard systems, with a particular focus on mobile wallet adoption. This role will play a crucial part in enabling Onecard transactions via mobile devices on campuses and at off-campus locations, enhancing the student experience. The Business Development Manager will ensure the project’s alignment with TouchNet’s mobile-first strategy, working closely with key technology partners, including Apple, Google, HID, and Allegion, to drive innovation and growth in mobile wallet solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the connection between Onecard mobile integration and GP Giftcard terminals, expanding off-campus use of mobile-based Onecard funds.

Collaborate with campuses to adopt mobile ID solutions, enhancing student convenience and experience by enabling access to campus services (vending, printing, food, books, parking, etc.) and off-campus merchants via mobile devices.

Manage relationships with key technology partners—Apple, Google, HID, and Allegion—ensuring that TouchNet’s mobile ID solutions align with their platforms and standards.

Work closely with TouchNet’s Product team to develop and enhance mobile-specific APIs and integrations that support Onecard functionality across various platforms, including Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.

Ensure all mobile ID solutions adhere to TouchNet’s mobile-first strategy, developing solutions that prioritize user convenience, security, and compatibility with modern mobile technologies.

Stay informed on industry trends and new technologies in mobile payments, digital identity, and campus card solutions, ensuring TouchNet remains at the forefront of mobile innovation.

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure timely and successful implementation of mobile wallet and ID solutions.

Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) and external partners to align on project goals, milestones, and success metrics.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in business development, project management, or strategic partnerships, with a focus on mobile wallet implementation, digital identity solutions, or campus transaction systems.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Proven experience in mobile payments, digital identity, or mobile wallet integration, particularly in the education or campus card sector.

Familiarity with Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, HID, Allegion, and related mobile technology partners.
