Axis’ Business Development, Solutions & Services organization is seeking a Manager, Business Development - Body Worn Solutions to join our growing organization in the Americas to lead a sales team responsible for our body worn solutions. The selected individual will be based out of our Americas HQ in Chelmsford, MA as a preferred location. Qualified remote candidates considered, provided they can perform job responsibilities during Eastern Time Zone (ET) business hours and are located near a major airport.
In this highly-visible role, you’ll be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, opportunity/pipeline management and hands-on sales management to drive revenue growth and market expansion for body worn solutions. The role will also lead a Program Manager, who will focus on competitive intelligence, sales programs and demand generation initiatives.
What you’ll do here as Manager, Business Development - Body Worn Solutions?
Develop, execute and sustain sales strategies via a dynamic playbook in collaboration and alignment with business area sales leadership
Hire, train and develop a high-performing outside sales team delivering incremental value to sales regions
Lead by example in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships while consistently achieving ambitious revenue targets
Foster a collaborative, cross-functional team environment while driving individual and team performance through mentorship and strategic guidance
Lead the team in proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while maintaining our commitment to Axis sales practices and work-life balance
Create and analyze sales dashboards, reports and performance metrics
Manage and report on the sales team’s forecast, pipeline and probability
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between business development, sales, marketing and other departments
Update leadership on sales and pending goals regularly

We'd love to hear that you have/are:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
Salesforce experience
Microsoft 365 suite experience
8+ years in sales and 5+ sales management with experience leading virtual team
Knowledge of RFP process and state contracts
Valued but not required skills or experience:
MBA or Masters degree in related field
Familiarity with a channel sales model
Knowledge of the physical security industry and body worn solutions
Knowledge of market segments that include; public safety, healthcare, education & retail

Target Salary:
The approximate pay range is $165,000 - 180,000 (OTE). Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
