Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $80,000.00 - $94,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to manage the LEAD Trainee Program and the Resource Specialist support team. Both teams provide short-term support and rotational work opportunities throughout the various Bank Operations departments. For LEAD Trainee program, this manager will provide a structured opportunity to build confidence while growing leadership skills through hands on coaching and guidance.
Essential Functions
Provide guidance on projects/issues and answer day-to-day questions related to Bank Operations best practices
Implement department strategy and management department workflow with guidance on department projects/issues
Provide weekly schedules for both LEAD and Resource Specialists teams and utilize department reporting to drive results with a focus on accountability
Provide coaching, training, and development to both the LEAD Trainees and the Bank Operations Specialists related to their assignments
Provide coaching to the LEAD Trainees with a focus on leadership competencies and development
Lead, mentor, and motivate trainees to implement department strategies and manage department workflow with guidance on department projects/issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report’s individual needs
Identify and work closely with team members on personal goals and skill development.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including front line management, senior leadership, and executive leadership on assignments and addressing needs for the division
Measure, present, and discuss trainee and resource specialists core competencies and strengths to match Operations needs to ensure proper placements and retention
Perform management functions including monthly align reviews, hiring, new team member onboarding, performance documentation, disciplinary guidance, and annual increase allocations
Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members effectively
Support budget management, planning and expenditure
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of project coordination or operational field, including best practices
Highly organized with an ability to work independently, and manage multiple tasks and priorities
Strong ability to coordinate, facilitate, and lead discussions amongst multiple stakeholder groups regarding business strategy, projects, impediments, and resource constraints
Strong executive presence and the ability to think strategically and provide thought leadership
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply discretion and sound judgement to efficiently and effectively solve problems
Ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business
Strong leadership and coaching skills with ability to motivate team members, cultivate teamwork
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Math, Engineering or Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience required
6+ years managing projects or operations experience required
3+ years leadership/supervisory experience required
