**JOB SUMMARY**
This position is responsible for leading a team of employees and consultants that perform many of the support functions for FROW (Forestry & R/W Services) field operations. Key areas include procurement, project controls, business intelligence, data analytics, unregulated vegetation management services, technology, GPC Storm Center support, and customer communication.
Position will manage the sourcing and renewal of vendor service contracts. Candidate should have knowledge of CAMP (Contract Activity Management Program) and Supply Chain processes. Manages financial transactions like unregulated billing and check requests.
This position will build, maintain, or support tools/software which track financial performance, including monthly spending and workplan progress. Will be directly involved in the development of the Condition Based Maintenance workplan for distribution and transmission vegetation management programs; supports the transmission workplan from a systems and reporting standpoint.
The business office manager is also responsible for ensuring the organization is enabled by technology, maintaining the systems used by the organization daily and delivering value-added enhancements to drive operational excellence.
This position will develop and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders including leadership in other business units and contract vendors. This position also has a storm restoration support role and will lead the team responsible for supporting the Forestry storm center. Candidate must provide leadership to team, develop employees, and manage employee performance.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
_Educational/Certification Requirements:_
+ Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, or related discipline is required. Graduate degree preferred.
_Experience Desired:_
+ Experience with service contract development and administration
+ Supervising others and administration of performance plans / reviews
+ Scheduling, budgeting, and financial reporting
+ Internal or vendor sourced application development and support
+ Experience in utility field operations and/or directly supporting field operations.
+ Proven record of successful teamwork with corporate support organizations (SCM, AFT, TO, SCS, etc.)
_Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:_
+ Ability to get technical work done through others
+ Knowledge of sophisticated business intelligence tools like Power BI, Oracle and GIS applications.
+ Ability to manage connections/integrations with numerous otherwise disconnected systems.
+ Knowledge of CAMP and other Key Financial Applications
+ GIS and Customer Information System knowledge a plus
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills - must have the ability to effectively communicate at all levels
+ Innovative mindset with proven process improvement experience
+ Understanding of remote sensing technologies like satellite imagery and LiDAR.
