Manager, Change Performance Management

The Manager, Change Performance Management will play a key role in enabling the successful delivery of the Change Portfolio. This role requires a strategic problem solver with outstanding relationship-building and presentation skills who can support senior collaborator management, evaluate project and change investment opportunities, and confidently produce and present high-quality materials to executive audiences.

What you'll do:

As a Manager, Change Performance Management in Aviva Canada, you will have the following responsibilities:

1. Change Portfolio Oversight

Supervise and analyze the performance of the Change portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities for greater alignment or improvement

Support in the development of clear insights to senior team members to support informed decision-making and strategic prioritization

2. Strategic Discussions and Opportunity Evaluation

Lead and facilitate strategic discussions with senior collaborators, driving clarity on priorities, risks, and opportunities.

`Collaborate with business divisions to assess potential project and change investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.

Provide insights and recommendations to guide decision-making at portfolio, program, and project levels.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building

Build and maintain positive relationships with senior leaders, Transformation Business Partners, and cross-functional teams.

Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing support, insights, and updates as required.

Represent the Transformation team effectively in meetings, ensuring alignment of priorities and encouraging collaboration.

4. High-Quality Materials and Confident Presentation

Produce clear, concise, and high-quality materials, including board papers, executive summaries, and presentations.

Present materials with confidence and clarity to senior leadership, adapting communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences.

Translate sophisticated data and insights into actionable, easily understood outputs.

5. Deputizing for Transformation Business Partners

Provide leadership and continuity by deputizing for Transformation Business Partners as required, ensuring critical initiatives remain on track.

Lead discussions and provide direction in their absence, maintaining collaborator confidence and alignment.

6. Collaboration and Coordination

Work across business divisions and the Transformation team to improve ways of working and ensure consistent delivery of objectives.

Contribute to the development and refinement of processes, reporting mechanisms, and frameworks within the Change Performance Management function.

What you'll bring:

A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, or a related subject area).

Proven ability to lead strategic discussions and provide actionable recommendations.

Strong collaborator engagement and relationship-building skills, with a track record of working effectively with senior leaders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present high-quality materials for executive audiences.

Analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and identify key insights.

Familiarity with change management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Proven adaptability, with experience managing competing priorities and stepping into varied responsibilities.

Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and project management software.
