Manager, Client Operations (Open to Remote)

We are seeking an experienced operations professional to join the Client Operations team as a Manager to work with PRHPS’s ever-growing list of Graphic Novel, Manga, and Comic Book publishers including clients such as Marvel, IDW, Dark Horse, DC, Seven Seas, and others.  The knowledge base required for the Client Operations Manager role is extensive. You will be responsible for having a working knowledge of and experience with: warehousing and physical supply chain, metadata maintenance and data feeds, financial accounting, physical and digital production, as well as digital asset management and distribution.

Specific responsibilities include:  

Oversees day-to-day relationships for several client publishers. 

Quickly distills the needs of the client and provides thoughtful, strategic, creative, and informed solutions to meet client publisher needs within standard operating procedures. 

Digests complex information and distills into clear and actionable insights that can be shared with other employees through training and mentoring. 

Independently drives an array of projects, both large and small, to create processes, procedures, and standards of work.  

Communicates major events and initiatives to client publishers. 

Diagnoses, develops, and implements process improvement efforts. 

Recognizes the critical role details play, while also maintaining emphasis on the big picture. 

  

Please apply if you meet the following qualifications:  

Minimum 5 years of Account Management, Operations, and/or Project Management experience (preferably within the Comic Book or Book Publishing industries) 

Knowledge of and experience with warehousing and physical supply chain, metadata maintenance and data feeds, financial accounting, physical and digital production, as well as digital asset management and distribution 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively 

Exceptional written and verbal skills 

Ability to build relationships through integrity, reliability, and maturity 

Ability to communicate credibly and effectively with people at all levels of an organization 

Ability to receive and deliver feedback in a constructive manner 

Passion for or interest in learning all about the business of Graphic Novels, Manga, and Comics 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) 

 

The salary for this position is $73,500.00. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.
