Manager, Client Population Health

The RoleUnder the direction of the Associate Director of Client Population Health and working cross-functionally within the Health and Medical Management Division, this external-facing associate provides clinical consultation for account management functions to meet marketplace and business needs as well as manages account Health and Medical Management Performance Guarantees. This position is eligible for the flex persona. Key Responsibilities: Account Management Responsibilities + Develop content for and present total population health/care management story at a variety of account meetings, including Finalist presentations and capabilities meetings + Interpret, aggregate, analyze, and present clinical account data and trends + Directly support accounts and sales by acting as a strategic clinical partner and point of contact/liaison for clinical inquiries and data reviews + Work closely with clinical subject matter experts, Health and Medical Management reporting and account informatics to support best-in-class account reporting and messaging on health management programs + Support the development of external-facing clinical program collateral and RFP responses + Serve as a subject matter expert for a variety of Sales support activities + Support trainings for new Account Executives about HMM programs + Provide relevant account feedback for internal audiences and workgroups + Keep abreast of local, regional, and national activity in the population health management/care management arena + Conduct ongoing environmental, business intelligence scanning and analysis in areas pertinent to health management Performance Guarantee (PG) Responsibilities + Support account PGs by serving as PG lead for Health and Medical Management + Maintain a document of Health and Medical Management PG contractual terms + Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to maintain up-to-date metrics and track PG results + Lead the necessary updates of PG language annually + Assist in the strategic development of new PGs Key Qualifications + Superior writing and public speaking skills and strong experience in presentations to diverse audiences + Analytical skills and ability to utilize and translate data and evidence based clinical research to support accounts and program design, and identifying clinical, quality and cost opportunities + Clinical expertise in variety of Health Management Programs, including Disease Management, Case Management, and population health programs + Excellent interpersonal skills for establishment of rapport with clinicians, business partners and accounts and for superb collaboration with internal key department leads throughout BCBSMA + Excellent ability to lead teams and work with diverse group of people including clinical, analytic, financial, and operations staff to meet deadlines and deliverables + Creative and tenacious problem-solving skills for matrix work across company and team building + Desire for ongoing professional development and willingness to respond to feedback + Ability to adapt and be flexible to change as priorities within this environment change constantly + Willingness to learn new skills from both a business and clinical perspective + Strong teamwork and communication skills as well as ability to be self-directive + Execution and results (ability to set goals, follow processes, meet deadlines, and deliver expected outcomes with appropriate sense of urgency) + Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in clinical/health related discipline required + Minimum of 5 years of clinical/health management practice experience, working knowledge of managed care industry, care management programs and health care policy, and further leadership experience in clinical realms + Licensed clinician (e.g. RN, RPh, etc.) preferred + Advanced degree such as MPH, MBA, MSN or MS preferred + Diverse clinically related experience and leadership roles preferred #LI-Hybrid Minimum Education Requirements: High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above LocationHinghamTime TypeFull time Salary Range: $100,890.00 - $123,310.00 The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability. This job is also eligible for variable pay.
