What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department.Actively share knowledge and identify potential improvements in processes or products, taking risks to develop innovative ideas.Solve moderately complex problems within your expertise and assist with issues outside the department.Oversee operational activities to support the department's short-term goals and manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, and ongoing assessment.Recognize the need for development in others, collaborate to create development plans, and solicit input to explain complex concepts and persuade others.Process, review, and receive patient data and records, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent clinical data reaches the medical department and other groups.Develop data management plans, including data preparation and validation activities, and guide operational teams in managing projects and identifying areas for improvement.Facilitate agreements between different teams, taking a leadership role, and serve as a Clinical Data Scientist and Trial Lead for clinical trials.Act as a technical resource to study teams for data visualization and reporting tools, ensuring operational excellence in collaboration with partners.Perform central monitoring activities, plan and execute communication strategies, and engage customer populations effectively.Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 2 years of experience or PhD/JD with any years of experience or associate's degree with at least 8 years of experience or high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experienceComprehensive understanding of all phases of clinical trialsFamiliarity with clinical research, FDA regulations, and International Conference on Harmonization Good Clinical Practices (GCDMP)Strong project and risk management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesCapability to handle multiple tasks and projects efficientlyProficiency in the Windows environment and its applicationsBonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
Master's degreeContract Research Organization (CRO) and vendor oversight experienceProficient in using commercial clinical data management systems and/or EDC productsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
