This is a remote role but does require an active pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee.

Job Responsibilities

Leads in planning and implementing clinical programs and services as well as preparing for the corporate Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee meetings as necessary.Serves as a clinical resource and drug information specialist to medical, pharmacy, & nursing staff as well as to allied healthcare providers internally and externally.Drives strategies with physicians, pharmacists and other health care providers as well as with multi-disciplinary teams across department lines to meet plans quality management, organizational and operational goals.Has knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility.

Job Qualifications

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree

Experience

7 years - Clinical experience required, and/or completion of 1 year residency and/or board certification

Skills\Certifications

Proven priority-setting and project management skillsMust be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projectsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsCompetency in compendia navigation and researchSolid understanding of regulatory guidelines (FDA, NCQA, EQRO, CMS) requiredKnowledge of medical and pharmacy productsProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

License

Licensed in Tennessee to practice Pharmacy, or eligible for licensure in the state of Tennessee to practice Pharmacy
