Manager, Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment

**Description**
Job Overview: The CPFR Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes for our Department Store retailers between ELC and its key supply chain and commercial partners. This role is focused on improving forecast accuracy, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient product availability throughout the supply chain. The CPFR Manager works closely with internal departments such as our brands, demand planning, distribution and CRSM, as well as external partners mainly our retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration with Retailers
+ Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key partners to align on forecasting and replenishment strategies.
+ Lead regular collaborative planning meetings to review sales forecasts, demand trends, and inventory levels and influences customers to adjust plans as needed.
+ Supply chain planning point of contact for retail partners.
+ Major event planning (assumption sharing and verification)
2. Inventory and Replenishment Optimization:
+ Monitor inventory levels across the supply chain and implement strategies to optimize stock levels, minimizing out of stocks and overstock situations.
+ Collaborate with supply chain and distribution teams to ensure timely replenishment of products based on forecasted demand and sales performance.
+ Implement replenishment policies to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs
+ Partner with CRSM to capture supply risks and opportunities for retailers leveraging the understanding of retailer HEROs and Marketing Calendars
+ Communicate to CRSM critical insights from retailers to help improve trade inventory levels. Drive the necessary communication to CRSM to enable inventory allocation when needed.
+ Receive critical updates to provide retailers with Supply timing and Launch feasibility
3. Demand Forecasting and Analysis:
+ Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to influence demand forecasts
+ Collaborate with the IBP Brand lead to ensure alignment between forecasts and replenishment plans.
+ Identify and resolve discrepancies between forecasted demand and actual sales performance.
4. Stakeholder Management:
+ Work closely with internal commercial teams (sales, marketing, CRSM, distribution) to align on product launches, promotions, and supply chain strategies.
+ Act as the primary point of contact for external retailers regarding forecast adjustments, replenishment schedules, and performance metrics.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
+ Utilize tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.
+ Provide regular reports and insights to commercial partners on forecast performance, inventory levels, and supply chain efficiency.
+ Utilize forecasting tools, systems and data analytics platforms (Power Bi, Tableau and advanced report building) to prepare for weekly retailer meetings and use for internal decision making
6. Process Improvement:
+ Continuously review and improve CPFR processes to drive operational efficiency and enhance collaboration with supply chain partners.
+ Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization of forecasting and replenishment processes.
+ Identifying potential JVC opportunities through end to end process improvement.
**Qualifications**
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management (typically 3-5+ years).
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and demand forecasting techniques.
• Excellent data analysis skills, with proficiency in forecasting tools and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with external partners.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in a collaborative forecasting environment. Customer facing experience an asset.
• Knowledge of retail, inventory planning, or distribution environments.
• Experience with CPFR processes or collaborative supply chain initiatives.
