The Collateral Automation & Innovation Manager will focus on supporting our collateral automation efforts for our separately managed accounts, including Wasmer Schroeder Strategies and Schwab Wealth Portfolios, with diverse stakeholders as we bring new products to the market and well as maintain current collateral. This role will interact with key partners to create, publish, and manage the lifecycle of content in various mediums to boost brand awareness, to generate leads, and to educate our audiences. This role will be responsible for managing and supporting content scalable across platforms and manage the content roadmap for Wasmer Schroeder Strategies and Schwab Wealth Portfolios. This is an individual contributor role within Schwab Asset Management Product Management & Innovation, reporting to the Director of Collateral Automation & Innovation.

Success will require you to be a strategic thinker who is comfortable switching between strategy and execution and is masterful at content creation for fixed-income products. You will also have demonstrated experience in boosting awareness, understanding, and engagement of technical products among various audiences as well as being a self-starter.

You will play a key role in the Collateral Automation Processes through Collateral Automation & Innovation, supporting key initiatives by effectively managing and supporting collateral automation, specifically for Wasmer Schroeder Strategies and Schwab Wealth Portfolios.

What you have
Over 5 years of relevant and proven experience in project management and communications production, preferably in fixed-income products and separately managed accountsBachelor’s degree highly preferred (degree in Business or Finance a plus), or equivalent demonstrated experience in applicable fieldsProven ability to coordinate across multiple teams within an organizationStrong organizational skills with minimal direct supervisionExperience implementing new software and processesKnowledge of print production and desktop publishing standards is highly preferredOutstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization and successfully collaborate with multiple business partnersKnowledge of the asset management industry and investment products, especially related to regulatory requirements for fund communicationsHigh level of attention to detail and ability to adhere to policies and desktop proceduresAbility to work on multiple projects and prioritize based on business needs while managing to strict deadlines and proactively identifying possible issues and resolutionsHighly effective planning, organization and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize based on business needs while managing to strict deadlinesSolid proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Strong technical skills, with ability to quickly learn online content management and production software/tools

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
