Location Description Post Consumer Brands Canadian corporate office is in the country's largest city, yet just a short drive from nature and charming small towns. The Toronto office is home to about 40 sales and marketing professionals focused on Post Consumer Brands international presence in North America and beyond. Responsibilities The role reports to the Director of International Markets and is responsible for achieving corporate revenue and profit targets for the international business at Post Consumer Brands. As a commercial lead, you will be responsible for the development of customer programs and strategies while ensuring annual business plans are met. You will collaborate closely with all functional areas, including key account managers, supply chain and operations, category insights, and finance, developing strong sales and general management skills. This role will provide an opportunity to work across multiple categories – including Breakfast Cereal, Peanut Butter and Pet Food. Leads monthly revenue pacing along with demand planners, contributing key inputs for larger organizational meetings for the international business. Develops quarterly forecasts, working closely with key account managers to ensure accurate and predictable information by customer/brand. Provides visibility to forecast changes for unique items to relevant supply chain teams. Contributes to annual business planning and accompanying commercial tactics to achieve financial and market share objectives. Provide market-specific insights on brand growth levers based on customer strategies and category trends Assists key account managers in developing customer strategies, evaluating customer activity proposals and executing customer priorities Collaborates with the finance team to authorize product pricing as per pricing strategy and evaluate promotional activities while delivering on financial guardrails. Works with project commercialization team to develop customer plans and targets for product launches. Monitor product launch KPIs and, post-launch, assist key account managers in optimizing plans. Collaborates with category insights manager to analyze category and competitive trends using syndicated data, recommending actions to safeguard business objectives. Supports business reviews by working with key account managers to analyze performance, identify risks and opportunities and provide compelling narrative on the overall state of business Leads budget management and approves promotional activities that optimize spending across customers while adhering to trade strategy. Oversee and ensure accuracy, compliance and timely management of trade deductions. Manages business processes to enhance sales team efficiency and brings forward process improvements. Performs reporting and other assigned tasks/projects Working Location: Hybrid This role is located at the Toronto office in North York. Typical hybrid schedule includes 3 days in-office (Tue-Thu) with remote flexibility up to 2 days a week. Qualifications 5-7 years consumer packaged goods experience with progressive roles in marketing and/or trade and category management Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce Ability to travel (15-20%) including international travel Strong leadership skills – must be driven and proactive in action taking Effective collaboration and communication skills with team and cross functional partners Strategic, planning and organizational skills, this includes project and time management as well as prioritization Strong analytical skills and ability to distill data into insights that can tell a story Expert in computer skills and software platforms like PowerPoint, Excel, Nielsen and Tableau Excellent oral and written communication skills that are showcased with storytelling Comfortability with ambiguity and self-driven to find solutions to business problems Preferred experience includes being proficient in Spanish, experience in working in top-tier multinational CPG business and cross functional experience in marketing and sales
