Overview Job Purpose The Manager, Commercial Management (Feeds and Desktop) will support new sale and renewal opportunities through the prospect to cash cycle. This involves partnering with sales to understand client requirements, use cases and workflow to determine the appropriate product solution and associated commercials and supporting sales in managing the salesforce workflow. The role incumbent will provide expertise on our commercial policies and best practices and will provide approvals on the proposed product and commercial solutions in line with those policies. You will be required to work closely with Sales, Relationship Management, Product & Support Teams, and Legal to ensure easy and consistent integration into the prospect to cash framework. Responsibilities Engage with Sales & Relationship Management on defining, structuring & approving commercial terms for new and amended opportunities. Facilitate the prospect to cash process by supporting sales teams to move forward a qualified opportunity through the cycle. Understand client workflows and needs through client & sales engagement to help craft commercial proposals that meets the client use case and aligns with product and commercial policies. Identify deal complexities and provide product and commercial guidance to sales teams as necessary to expedite opportunities. Collaborate with Product on roadmap and retirement of legacy platforms and restructuring of commercial packages to simplify. Conceptualize, design and execute business process improvements that increase sales and operations productivity and innovate for future business needs. Identify and communicate to the legal team about commercial and business-related provisions to be incorporated within a contract. Knowledge and Experience Strong background in Sales, Account Management, PreSales, Product Management for financial data products. Minimum of 5-7+ years in financial data business experience Firsthand experience of Realtime or Desktop data products. Salesforce knowledge and experience Working knowledge of global financial markets including listed markets, fixed income, and derivatives, a plus Highly proficient analytical skills with proven ability to effectively multi-task Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills A bachelor’s degree is preferred Proficiency in MS Excel, Salesforce, and Tableau strongly preferred Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week. New York Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 100,000 - 175,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation.
