Manager, Communications & Change Management
Job Summary
The Manager, Communications & Change Management supports day-to-day communications around our global strategy, culture, and business goals. This individual will be a member of the GPC Global Strategic Communications team, reporting to the Director of Global Internal Communications, and will lead multi-channel communications strategies and develop communications and change management strategies for global initiatives. The GPC Global Strategic Communications team supports our mission by helping to build a world-class employee experience for our teammates. The Manager, Communications & Change Management will partner with internal teams to deliver employee-focused communications for global programs from inception through launch.
Responsibilities
Support our One GPC strategy and global teams through the planning, development, and distribution of informative, clear, and engaging content.Develop and manage a range of internal communications, including emails, newsletters, intranet content, presentations, local messages and more.Serve as the primary change manager, partnering with multi-faceted global teams to effectively communicate and implement strategic initiatives.Translate key concepts and action items from global project teams to construct compelling, technically strong, and engaging communications.Create clear and defined communications processes that allow teams to rapidly scale and execute as needed.Partner with the GPC Global Communications team to share news broadly when appropriate.Provide analysis of communications results via dashboards or analytics reporting.Ensure brand consistency across all communications by adhering to GPC's brand guidelines, templates, and style guides.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, marketing, or other relevant areas7+ years’ experience in writing, proofing and/or editing copy in a corporate or agency environment.Proficiency in change management and organizational changeExcellent written and verbal communications, prioritizing clarity, and brevityKeen understanding of AP StyleProven ability to independently manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to demonstrate personal impact, influence, and persuasion.Excellent imagination and creativity in developing communications through traditional and digital channels.Ability to think and do – generating ideas while implementing them, all while balancing speed and quality.Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in journalism, communication, marketing, or other relevant areasExperience with employee or corporate communications in a global or disbursed organization.Experience communicating global change management initiatives.10+ years’ experience in writing, proofing and/or editing copy in a corporate or agency environment.Certifications in Change Management (CCMP) and/or Project Management (PMP)Leadership
