The Manager, Competitive Intelligence and Business Insights will lead a dynamic team of analysts responsible for uncovering actionable insights through competitive and business intelligence. This role will act as a strategic partner to the Product and Strategy teams, helping shape product ideation, benchmarking, and long-term roadmap development. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of products, data analytics, and emerging technologies with the ability to synthesize complex market dynamics into impactful strategies.

What you'll do:

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of competitive analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Define clear goals and success metrics for the team, aligning with broader organizational objectives.

Competitive and Business Intelligence

Monitor, analyze, and report on industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.Develop comprehensive competitive benchmarking frameworks to evaluate product features, pricing strategies, and market positioning.

Product Ideation and Benchmarking

Collaborate with the Product team to provide insights that drive innovative product ideas and enhancements.Conduct detailed product performance comparisons to inform development priorities and competitive differentiation.

Strategic Roadmap Support

Partner with the Strategy team to align intelligence insights with long-term business objectives and roadmaps.Provide data-driven recommendations for market entry strategies, feature prioritization, and resource allocation.

Data and Technology Utilization

Leverage advanced tools, technologies, and data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from diverse data sources.Champion the use of technology for automating intelligence workflows and improving data accuracy and timeliness.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Reporting

Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, presenting insights in a clear and compelling manner.Design and deliver regular reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored to leadership and functional teams.


Who you are:

Experience: 5–8 years in competitive intelligence, business intelligence, product management, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of data analytics, BI tools, and technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL.Product Understanding: Deep knowledge of product lifecycle management and benchmarking methodologies.Analytical Thinking: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.Strategic Vision: Proven track record of influencing product and strategy teams with actionable insights.Adaptability: Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
