Req ID: 75049 Description We are looking for a candidate to join a small team reporting directly to the senior manager of Compliance reporting with the goal of consulting business units on accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate governance. The individual must have a strong desire to proactively understand how a business operates and to leverage their previous accounting experience to identify emerging financial risks. Due to the nature of the position, the candidate will have the opportunity to engage with diverse business owners within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Responsibilities + Manages financial audit: timeline, resources, coordination with process owners and external audit team + Provides accounting technical guidance for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) legislation. + Updates management on industry best practices, standards and an understanding of the regulatory environment + Demonstrates the confidence to interact with all levels, set objectives, drive results, and a be a supportive team player + Assesses risks and continuously evaluates the scope and effectiveness of compliance programs. + Monitors strategies to remedy SOX deficiencies; reports on status and clearance gaps to executive team. + Coordinates with external auditors regarding audit status updates + Communicates clearly and across all levels of the organization; conducting precise and informed meetings, and clearly and succinctly documenting findings in a manner that complies with auditing standards + Demonstrates sound judgment and insight when assessing company risk and identifying risk management mitigation actions. + Leads value-added assignments while maintaining objectivity while reducing the impact towards the business Required Experience and Skills + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting + 3-5 years accounting experience + Strong written and verbal communication skills in English + Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Controls Testing + Ability to handle tight deadlines and work in a high paced demanding environment + Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously + Ability to work effectively in a team setting + Takes appropriate actions without being asked + Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word Desired Experience and Skills Skyworks is proud to be an equal opportunity employer supporting diversity in the workplace.
