Summary: The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the Marketing lead for the day-to-day management of monthly mission initiatives and volunteer engagement projects. This candidate will work closely with the Sr. Manager, Constituent Marketing on integrated marketing plan development, execution and activation. This candidate will also perform budgetary and project management functions.
While employees may be permitted to work remotely, travel to the assigned office, HUB or Satellite Offices may be required as determined by the employee’s manager and the employee’s People Organization Generalist.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of mission and volunteer engagement strategies with the Sr. Manager of Constituent Marketing and collaborate with stakeholders and creative team to ensure messaging is on brand. Responsible for the implementation and management of integrated marketing plans (including email, social media, direct mail, videos, web, collateral, SMS, advertising, etc.) in coordination with the CE team. Make plan recommendations based on priorities and goals. Collaborate with mission and volunteer engagement stakeholders, aligning on overall goals and objectives Develop required strategic documents (i.e., SWOT analysis & Strategic framework) in collaboration with the Sr. Manager and obtain input in preparation for integrated plan development. Collaborate with the Sr. Manager to gain input and approvals of plans and assets. Work cross functionally with both the internal CE teams (creative, digital, social, etc.) as well as external partners (Zero Gravity, MODCO, Invisible Man, etc.) ensuring collaboration & consistent strategy to meet business goals. Assist with the development of the creative strategy and oversee implementation through the creative brief process, collaborating with creative and the broader Constituent Experience team. Assist with management of creative asset development with internal creative team and assigned agencies (e.g., Invisible Man, Zero Gravity). Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels. Analyze and present plan results for assigned marketing programs to senior management. Develop and manage program budgets. Request proposals and manage planned spend with vendor(s) by ensuring we are appropriately using designated budgets. Develop and manage budget tracking template, and work with CE coordinator to process invoicing. Collaborate with Constituent Marketing teammates to identify innovation that effectively reaches and engages priority constituents in new and different ways. Spearhead project management for mission and volunteer engagement projects, ensuring that all assets are delivered on a timely basis. Manage all day-to-day operations for mission and volunteer engagement projects. Work with Legal, as needed. 3-5 years of marketing, with emphasis on brand marketing and fundraising campaign experience Bachelor’s degree#LI-Remote
Position Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to larger audiences. Proven ability to successfully navigate a matrixed organization, and lead projects with minimal supervision. Leadership capabilities are critical to the success of this role Experience in executing marketing strategy and understanding of content development is a huge plus. Capable of balancing multiple priorities effectively and working in a fast-paced environment a must. Experience with health organizations and/or volunteer driven organizations. Understanding of healthcare and/or cancer space, preferably nonprofit. Connection to Mission a plus. Understanding of and/or sensitivity to underserved populations a plus. Experience targeting and marketing to diverse communities a plus. History and/or passion for innovation in the philanthropy space with an entrepreneurial spirit. We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $64,800 to $76,756. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at LLS we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
