Responsibilities Summary This position provides support to the Director, Contract Finance and manages daily financial tasks such as reviewing contract language associated with per diem rates, fixed costs, wage determinations, or position conformance. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Oversees processing of Company contract modifications. Provides approval of initial contract invoices, to include entity verification for REIT status. Manages and tracks contract deductions and awards. Manages and tracks the contract renewal process. Oversees the financial components within the Contract Administration database for contracts and options and the historical documentation about them. Monitors contracts to ensure financial obligations under agreements are being met in accordance with the requirements contained within. Supervises and develops the Contract Administration financial staff. Reviews proposals and new contracts for entity verification for REIT status as well as financial impact and pricing (e.g. staffing/wage determinations, expansions, CPI increases, per diem adjustments, and performance awards/fees. Reviews amendments and modifications including entity verification for REIT status, Requests for Adjustments (REAs), SF1444s, and Task Orders prior to submission for financial impact. Contributes to review of small business, sub-contracting, and REIT reporting requirements. Oversees both SAM and D&B including organizing and gathering all supporting documentation for all entities. Organizes relevant information regarding client requests for senior managers and executives. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field required. Four (4) years of progressive experience in a professional level capacity with exposure in Business Administration, Contract Administration, Corrections or related field. Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred. Excellent usage of spreadsheet and databases. Ability to write reports in a clear and concise manner. Ability to effectively communicate verbally to others. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to be organized and able to work on several tasks at the same time. Ability to occasionally travel with overnight stays. Must be able to pass a background investigation. Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
