Aptiv is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the role of Manager, Contract Management within our Corporate segment's Supply Chain Management department. This key position is responsible for leading our contract management team, overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, and ensuring that our organization's contractual interests are protected. The ideal candidate will bring a strong legal background, extensive experience in contract management, and exceptional leadership skills to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and foster collaboration across the organization.

Your Role

Lead and oversee a team of contract negotiatorsDevelop and implement contract management strategies, guiding principles and proceduresOversee the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and administrationEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsIdentify and mitigate contractual risksImprove processes and drive efficiency in contract managementCollaborate with stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact for contract issuesMonitor the contract status, performance metrics, and key issuesMentor and develop team members, setting performance goals and conducting reviews

Your background

Experience: Minimum 7-9 years in contract management, with at least 3 years in a team management roleStrong leadership and team management skillsIn-depth understanding of contract law and regulationsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsProficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrategic thinking and attention to detailBachelor's degree in Law or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Communication skills: English – must have; Spanish, Portuguese – nice to have
