The position is part of our Information Technology team. As a Manager, Core Financial Services Technologies you will be responsible for partnering with the IT Business Unit Directors and business stakeholders in establishing and leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional and strategic initiatives and working with onsite and offshore teams to deliver solutions.
Role Responsibilities
Working with the IT Business Unit Directors and Business Leadership to understand business strategy and direction and to propose solutions that address business needs and challenges. Managing onsite-offshore coordination and delivery of the solutions. Managing project demand from intake, discovery, planning, scheduling, staffing and development through production deployment. Managing a mixed team of employees, onshore and offshore contractors located throughout the US and internationally. Ensure the projects are delivered on time and within budget. Ensure frequent, continuous and effective communication with team members, within IT, and with stakeholders to set expectations and negotiate priorities appropriately, via both formal and informal channels / mechanisms. Manage all projects (small, large), track issues and closure associated with the portfolio of responsibility.Role Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field and a bachelor’s degree. Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects. Extensive experience delivering projects in onshore/offshore model. Project management for waterfall and/or agile SDLC’s Managing project budgets and accurate estimations Identify and mitigate risks and issues quickly to avoid impact to programs Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Projects, Visio) Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization from the technical developer up to C-level executives Ability to navigate a highly diverse organization effectively Experience with stakeholders and demand management Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure. Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally Strong presentation skills Ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives Proven track record with delivering projects on time and on budgetWe make financial services accessible to humans everywhere.
