Manager, Data Analytics

Job Description:

The Data Analytics Manager will define and build platform, data collection, reporting and analytics capabilities that will provide meaningful insights on how our business and user experience is performing which will provide opportunities for us to optimize.  This role is a critical component of a data-driven sales, marketing, and finance framework. It requires a combination of analytical and technical skills, as well as the ability to communicate findings in a way that allows others to make informed decisions. This leader will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including sales, marketing, IT, Operations, Digital, Finance to deliver meaningful data and analytics. 

The successful candidate will build and lead a team responsible for bringing to life a vision of leveraging data and analytics to accelerate our business. They will feel comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and collaborating to define the best path forward.  They must be passionate about business models and experience optimization, and they need to have a roll-up-your-sleeves, action-oriented attitude. The goal will be to transform our data to leverage machine learning and AI-based algorithms to both monitor performance and drive decision making in real-time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Partner with business owners and delivery on project requests and lead analytics approach 

Identifies processes that need improvement for data accuracy and work with product owners to correct processes

Create reporting requirements for strategy discussions within sales organization.

Monitor data quality and system integrations to ensure analytical output is accurate for business needs

Champion new tools/external data needs for data governance and reporting

Architect/Design reusable data sources and write advanced SQL queries. 

Utilize Python to develop and refine machine-learning models to predict and flag potential compliance issues. 

Own daily and monthly volume reporting for business needs, high emphasis on sales demand analysis

Manage dashboards for a variety of programs and initiatives, with regular cadence of communication to appropriate stakeholders 

Identify KPI’s and implement consistent reporting, with focus on leading indicators

Develop automated solutions for repetitive tasks to increase efficiency

Help to instill a data driven culture through education and training

Help with reporting and data governance initiatives for company overall

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong communication/presentation skills combined with ability to drive insights from data and business and overall business strategy 

Ability to think strategically about what data is critical to capture; develop understanding of internal data structures and tools

Ability to synthesize analysis and present findings and recommendations to multiple audiences

Familiarity with the shifting landscape of measurement, analytics data, AI

Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Effectively manage a team through coaching, developing and mentoring

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 7 years of direct work experience in data analytics, data science or similar. 2+ years of people management experience. Advanced SQL (Snowflake a plus). Data Visualization (Tableau or similar). Salesforce and Jira experience preferred but not required.

Travel Requirements: Limited travel regionally and nationally up to 5%

Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use.  Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds for displays, samples and other marketing materials

Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $110,000 - $148,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
