Within this organization, the primary mission of the Offer Price and Optimization engineering teams is to optimize airline revenues by selling the right products at the right prices. Our overarching goal is to lead the industry towards modern retailing, characterized by dynamic, customer-centric, and optimized offers.

About the team

The mission of our Price Optimization Model team is to design and develop advanced AI-driven models, which are at the heart of our Dynamic Pricing products. The team also assists airlines increasing their sales conversion and revenues while maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Its main objectives are:

Improve performance of our existing models and products, while shaping the future of the modelsIndustrialize and simplify our solutions (automatic calibration, reporting, revenue monitoring, simulation)Increase coverage of our solutions to enable massive deploymentHarmonize science and models across Offer Optimization productsLead the department topics around Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial IntelligenceFoster adoption of cutting-edge technologies, advanced data science practices and MLops mindset across the organization

As manager of the Price Optimization Model team, you will:

Lead and develop your team (composed of Data Scientists, Developers, and Product Definition Analysts), encourage collaboration and promote innovationSupport all team members in their career growthOrganize trainings and foster mentoring activities to ease onboarding and enable critical deliveriesEmpower your team to efficiently influence, support, and guide towards the design and validation of AI-driven models (including revenue increase performance) in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholdersBe the entry point and lead for the Price Optimization scienceFacilitate discussions about innovative technologies and platform watch to support and power the cloud, machine learning, and AI architecture runwayEnhance performance by leveraging FinOps (Financial Operations) initiativesLead regular working groups on development and quality experience to improve our working environments and day-to-day activities

Your responsibilities

Establish solid relationships with stakeholders (trains, Scrum Master/Product Owner, Business Owners, Product Managers,...) and be able to influence and empower themAccountable for the budget, performance, and results of the teamInfluence the resource, budget, and policy planningAbility to manage time and effort to maximize team efficiency and quality of the deliveryDemonstrate ownership for your activities and scope with exposure to complex decision makingAbility to leverage personal knowledge and experience to contribute to/support train deliveries, remove impediments, and guide/mentor train membersCollaborate with other software development, architecture, solutions, and QA (Quality Assurance) teams to ensure that systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance

About our ideal candidate

At least 5 years of experience in team leadership, including empowering team members, managing talent, and providing guidance to achieve a shared vision

Experience in machine learning, MLOps (Machine Learning Operations), and data scienceInterest in innovating and developing models, and evolving with the latest cloud, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence technologiesFamiliarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Effective communication skills, decision making, and problem-solving abilitiesFluent in English
