Overview of the Role
As a Demand Planning Manager, you will take charge of the demand planning functions for several of our key customers. This dynamic and challenging role requires you to thrive in a constantly evolving environment. You'll need to anticipate and adapt to changes, collaborating closely with our cross-functional partners to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize obsolescence. Leading a team of three direct reports, you'll guide and mentor them to achieve their best performance. We're seeking a proactive individual who can tackle challenges head-on, learn from experiences, and implement improvements to drive our business forward.
****Salary ranges from $88 325 to $115 930*** offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.****

Lead and Develop the Demand Planning Team: Manage, coach, and supervise demand planning team members to meet goals and objectives, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.Demand Planning and Forecasting: Develop and refine demand plans based on comprehensive analysis of business trends, demand patterns, and market dynamics.Forecast Updates: Update forecasts for new products, seasonal products, discounts, and promotions, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness to market changes.Forecast Review Meetings: Schedule and lead regular forecast review meetings with management, ensuring alignment and transparency across the organization.KPI Management: Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) including, but not limited to, Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Fill Rates, and Disposals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Issue Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot demand-related issues promptly and accurately, implementing effective solutions to mitigate risks.Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with the inventory team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, balancing supply and demand effectively.Reporting and Analysis: Generate routine and ad-hoc demand-related reports for management, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.Process Optimization: Maintain and enhance demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.Integrated Business Planning (IBP): Collaborate closely with the IBP team to align demand planning activities with the broader business strategy, ensuring a cohesive approach to supply chain management.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Collaboration, Supply Planning, Warehousing, Transportation, Customer Service, and QA to coordinate and execute demand planning activities.Employee Development: Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, and retention activities, building a strong and capable team.Budgeting and Cost Management: Assist in developing annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives, contributing to the financial health of the organization.Industry Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the dairy industry and business environment, including market trends and competitor activities, and their implications for Saputo.You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, economics, or a related field, or work equivalent required3-5 years of experience in a similar position. CPG experience an asset.Excellent project management skills, analytical and data management skillsFamiliarity with demand/supply planning concepts and software. SAP experience an asset.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, and Power BI.English both spoken and written is mandatory.
