Role Definition
Caterpillar is offering an exciting opportunity to join the E&T Commercial Process Division and Order Management Process (OMP) team within the Global Finance Organization. 

What you will do:
This position manages a team of business analysts and drives business requirements, sets priorities and the allocation of resources for the Order Management Process (OMP) which supports the Energy and Transportation Division. This team drives processes and tools for worldwide dealers and customers to quote and order Caterpillar E&T Engine products while interfacing with worldwide manufacturing facilities to build and ship these orders.

In addition, this role coordinates the strategic implementation and governance process that ensures policies and processes are aligned to the achievement of business objectives. Typical internal customers include employees within the Electric Power, Marine, Industrial and Oil & Gas engine industries while also working closely with Caterpillar IT.  The position is challenged to carefully evaluate problems and recommend solutions to complex business problems. The incumbent sets priorities, budget and establishes a work plan to achieve desired results.

Key skills for this role include project management, leadership of cross regional teams, and the ability to translate and communicate technical requirements to key stakeholders by demonstrating and aligning business value. Limited travel required (Less than 10%).

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviorsSoftware Change Request Management: Knowledge of software change request management; ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff.Software Product Management: Knowledge of software product management; ability to operate and manage software product development projects at all stages of the product development lifecycle.

Summary Pay Range:

$144,960.00 - $235,440.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
