Reporting directly to the Associate Director, Finance & Digital Technology, you will work closely with ELCAN’s management team in Midland to drive strategy, achieve goals, and deliver growth across the business. Your proven passion and experience leading, mentoring and developing a team is balanced by your demonstrated understanding of manufacturing business transformation, compliance excellence, and Digital Technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborates across the organization to develop, maintain and support business applications, applying process improvement concepts for process redesignAligns services, service levels, technology, vendor/supplier management, and initiatives with business strategies and needsRepresents the business in enterprise/corporate initiatives. Acts as business contact and advocates for delivery of high quality servicesDocumenting business requirements, producing technical specifications, data modeling and data migration, system implementations, integrations, testing, and maintenance of commercial off-the-shelf business solutions Maintains data warehousingDevelops objectives, establishes policy and sets technological standardsProvides business or enterprise level architecture and roadmaps, vision, strategy, problem anticipation, and problem solvingAnticipates DT industry future directions and relates to future strategy, architecture needs and transformational initiatives required to stay competitive and business outcome drivenCreates and drives a vision for Digital Technology Transformation, with a culture focused on trust, respect, empowerment, and continuous improvement Promotes and maintains a safety culture that meets world class standardsSupports succession planning, organizational and talent development, fostering a culture that attracts and retains talentEducation & Experience:
Minimum of 7 years in IT service delivery in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years leading digital workplace teams or projectsBachelor Degree in Computer Science or other technical area preferred or equivalent experience Applied knowledge and understanding of Business Systems & Enterprise Architecture and StrategyDemonstrated ability to lead continuous improvements in business processesStrong understanding of project management (PMLC) and systems development (SDLC) lifecyclesFunctions with a sense of urgency, achieving results while adhering to compliance guidelinesExperience managing people, developing team members as well as leading through influenceGood awareness of risk, control & governance requirements and ideally have worked in a highly regulated environmentAdditional Key Competencies:
