Our Heart Failure solutions are helping address some of the World’s greatest healthcare challenges. As the Distribution & Facilities Manager you’ll have the chance to lead distribution operations, implement distribution & facilities strategies, and support business growth through gross margin improvement initiatives. The manager is responsible for overseeing all order filling, shipping/receiving duties, inventory control and facilities management. **Principle Responsibilities** The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. + Plan, direct, and monitor all inventory control, storage, shipping, and receiving activities so that the organization has access to the inputs, materials, goods, and services it needs for its current and future operations. + Responsible for freight & logistics, warehouse efficiency, and facilities. Responsible for managing metrics to ensure accurate inventory and prevent supply interruption. + Coordinate between functional site groups and division counterparts so the supply of produced units meets demand on time and in full. Achieve site volume, inventory, and service level targets. + Interpret inventory requests, orders, and other documents to coordinate materials handling activities with the organization’s current and anticipated demand for goods and materials. + Coordinate purchasing, receiving, and shipping support to all site departments, in liaison with external stakeholders including third party suppliers and division departments including procurement. + Continually review current 3PL’s and possible future providers; develop and maintain strong and effective partnerships + Develop & implement long-term distribution strategy, including utilization of third-party networks. + Initiate projects to improve gross margin. **Supervisory Responsibilities** + Directly oversees internal warehouse operations, including warehouse supervisors and logistics/facilities staff + Maintains accuracy of time and attendance data for area of responsibility. + Maintains work balancing and assignment of duties + Maintains a culture of accountability by setting clear objectives for all employees in areas of responsibility through regular follow-up, variance tracking and results. + Conducts accurate and timely assessment of subordinates through annual performance reviews. + Conducts supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable labor laws. + Identifies and assists with implementation of business processes and work flow improvements within the organization. + Lends guidance, support and subject matter expertise to management team and other departments + Assists with training on a continuing basis. + Responsible for time management, adherence to schedule and attendance + Expected to set clear objectives with regular follow-up and variance tracking + Maintains a culture of accountability and standards + Follows all regulatory policies, procedures, privacy, and security standards **Required Qualifications** + Bachelors degree in business or technical field + Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment + Knowledge of supply chain/inventory management systems + Experience managing all aspects of Logistics operations including 3PL relationships + Experience with multiple distribution channels including, but not limited to, Direct-to-Consumer and B2B + Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment + Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience maintaining high service levels, 97%+ on-time in-full + Experience developing, leading, and implementing programs related to gross margin improvement + Experience developing and implementing distribution strategies * Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan. The base pay for this position is $128,000.00 – $256,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
