The Manager, Distribution Systems supports daily DC Operations utilizing systems and technology to have optimal throughput. This opportunity will control systems in a fully automated, digital fulfillment warehouse with new state of the art technology. This role will report to the Director of Operations and is a critical strategic partner focusing on data analysis and cross functional partnerships to create and implement SOP’s and optimize productivity. 

This is an on-site position based out of our Romeoville, IL Distribution Center. This role is a People leader position

A day in the life as a Manager, Distribution Systems

Work with the warehouse management system (WMS) project team to implement, support and maintain Blue Yonder/JDA WMS in the DC OperationManage warehouse management system (WMS) configuration and configuration changesAnalyze various business needs while working with process owners and business subject matter experts to help define detailed requirements and suggest potential systemic solutions and improvementsSubject matter expert on system functionality serving as the Point of Contact for all end users regarding inquiries in the WMS/LMS systemsIdentify and execute system modifications/release requests in order to improve the efficiency and/or quality of the softwareCollaborate with operations and training teams to develop SOPs and support change management around system integrationsProvide training and technical support for warehouse management system (WMS) and its related equipmentLiaison between Store Operations, Transportation, Merchandising, Loss Prevention, and IT Departments regarding software questions, needs, and timing

What you’ll bring to the table…

Knowledgeable  of industry trends in warehousing best practices and methodology, as well as material handling, equipment, vendors and innovationKnowledgeable in the processes and procedures for all Distribution channels with advanced understanding of the warehouse management system (WMS), as well as,other systems that interact with the WMS  Experience with Material Handling Systems, Warehouse Execution Systems and Control systems (WES/WCS) and PLC and PC based controlsSolid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes including inventory, order management, fulfillment, and transportation

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent 5+ years of experience with Distribution Center operations3+ years of experience leading/coaching peopleWarehouse Management Systems knowledge (Blue Yonder, JDA/ RedPrairie, Manhattan, HighJump, Catalyst, Oracle)WMS or related system development and implementation lifecycle experience a plusBackground in Lean and 6 Sigma methodologies; Green Belt or Black Belt, preferred



Minimum Starting Rate: $83,000.00 Annually

Up to: $110,000.00 Annually

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
