Manager, Divisional Sales (NYC Hybrid)
**Overview** HarperCollins is seeking a Manager, Children’s Divisional Sales to work with the Director of Brand Management and VP, Executive Director of Sales to manage various sales reporting, cross-channel analysis, and brand/category reviews across the Children’s Sales Division. **Responsibilities** + Track and communicate sales for key titles, authors, and brands to sales team and key publisher contacts + Prepare weekly on-sale readiness reviews and laydown recaps for key titles and brands + Coordinate agendas and provide materials/analysis for bi-weekly marketplace meetings with publishers and marketing + Support Brand Director on top property analysis and publishing recommendations as well as decks and analysis for author and agent meetings and updates + Research and create cross-divisional sales materials for brands, trends, and media opportunities + Prepare backlist materials for Sales Conference and other seasonal Sales meetings + Execute ad-hoc projects for the VP, Executive Director and Director of Brand and other members of the Children’s Sales Leadership team as needed **Qualifications** + Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work both independently and collaboratively + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Self-starter with enthusiasm and ability to take initiative + Strong sense of integrity with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion + Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment + Attention to detail and comfort navigating large data sets and reporting systems + Excellent time management skills + Demonstrates a creative, innovative and resourceful approach to problem-solving + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills a must. + 4-5+ years experience in publishing, bookselling, marketing, or a customer or sales support role.
