Manager, EMEA Inside Channel Sales
**Hungry, Humble, Honest, with Heart.** **The Opportunity** We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **(Manager)** to lead our **Inside Channel Sales team** focused on the EMEA market. As a leader, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Value-Added Resellers within a defined account segment. Your primary responsibilities will include leading, coaching, and managing a team of Inside Channel Sales representatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the overall success of this sales segment. **Channel Sales at Nutanix** The Inside Channel Led Sales team at Nutanix consists of 8 representatives based in Barcelona. As a new team, there is great potential for making a significant impact on the business and fast-tracking one's career. This highly visible role presents a unique opportunity to grow the business and stand out professionally. **Your Role** - Lead and Develop Teams: Provide strong leadership to a Inside Channel Sales Reps team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Implement coaching and training programs to enhance the team's skills and capabilities. - Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for the **EMEA Value-Added Resellers** in alignment with overall organizational goals. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach in achieving sales objectives. - Sales Team Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the **Inside Channel Sales Reps** , ensuring effective lead qualification, prospecting, pitching, quoting, sizing, pricing, forecasting, negotiating, and ordering. Drive the team to meet and exceed sales targets. - Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with Inside Channel Systems Engineers, Nutanix Distributors, Enablement, Product Specialists, and Regional Channel Managers to establish strong partnerships and ensure the success of Value-Added Resellers. - Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of the team's performance, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management. - Strategic Support: Act as a strategic partner for partners requiring Nutanix support within the sales cycle. Handle account/deal escalations with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Regional Channel Directors and Account Managers to develop and execute partner enablement programs, set goals, and ensure seamless execution. - Advocacy and Feedback: Advocate for Value-Added Resellers (VARs) within the organization and share constructive feedback cross-departmentally to contribute to the enhancement of the Nutanix Channel Program **What You Will Bring** + 5+ years of experience in high-tech software sales, with 3+ years in management. + Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. + Proven experience managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close. + Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and presentation). + Knowledge of datacentre technologies such as virtualization, storage, servers, cloud, and networking. + Experience transacting and going to market with Channel partners. + Experience working and supporting a reseller/distributor model. + Strong organizational and time management skills. + High energy, drive, and a sense of responsibility. + Positive attitude. + Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
