Your New Role...


This position is responsible for providing financial analysis on EMEA Content Finance for the Streaming organization through supporting the regional programming acquisition leads and market production teams. This position will report to the VP Finance Programming. This role serves as business facing support with regional programming teams to challenge financial assumptions, ensure cost efficiency optimization through territory spend allocation, and consistency of reporting that complies with Global Programming finance initiatives. 

Building relationships is essential as well given the highly matrixed organizational structure of international finance.  Clear communication of target setting, trend analysis, gap closing, and other business and corporate partnering is expected in order to successfully manage this role. 

The position will require attention to detail, strong financial analysis background, executive professional presence and communication, and business understanding due to the complexity of programming dynamics in international markets.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Business facing support with EMEA programming acquisitions, production and administration teams to challenge financial assumptions, managing and develop current planning process to ensure continuity of business planning. Implement weekly (or bi-weekly) sessions per territory and onboarding of new territories. Assure consistency of reporting that complies with Global Programming finance initiatives.Partnering with relevant WBD internal stakeholders (both within EMEA and Global Streaming) for consolidated EMEA streaming including programming acquisitions, D+ and LOPs as well as US initiatives such as intercompany deals, kids content, Adult swim, Max OP titles, international LOPs etc First point of contact for the FP&A CoE in Warsaw as well as the Content Strategy & Analysis (CS&A) team both locally and centrally in US.Oversee implications of central initiatives such as project Compass, project Focus, system consolidations (e g Peoplesoft to SAP and ibroadcast to GPSc). Ad hoc requests; extract and analyse data, run ad hoc analysis, prepare and review business cases, analyze performance versus goals etc.

Qualifications & Experience...

8+ years of relevant experience

Forecasting and budgeting

Cash flow experience

Trend analysis, target setting, gap closure

Programming operations and/or finance (a plus)

Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance

Knowledge of Financial Modelling and a systems background

Strong communication and organisational skills

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
