Job Description
The Manager, Employee and Workplace Relations (EWR) Excellence is responsible for: creating global and functional reporting and analytics to drive increased capability in the business; developing and delivering training resources to drive EWR excellence across investigations and strategic initiatives; and projects advancing initiatives, processes and organizational impact.
Responsibilities
+ Identifies information required to support the reporting business strategy and leads the development of reports and analytics (to include dashboards and scorecards) as an integrated part of the business strategy.
+ Develops and monitors strategies aimed to improve business reporting and planning processes utilizing continuous improvement across functions and/or regions.
+ Works with clients to understand specific business processes and needs related to reporting analytics. Can grasp the business strategy across multiple business units; comprehends reporting needs and identifies and communicates resulting opportunities.
+ Provide guidance and leadership in reporting and project planning for the maintenance and effective business use of reporting opportunities.
+ Design and develop training and support materials for departmental and functional clients.
+ Provide inputs/methods to update, simplify, or enhance processes, procedures, and technologies as required.
+ Responsible for understanding the capabilities (and driving the enhancement of) existing systems and technologies already in use across the business area and interconnected business areas in AbbVie.
+ Responsible for compliance with applicable AbbVie data privacy and security policies at the country, region or enterprise level.
+ Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities and participates and/or leads special projects as needed.
+ Lead key cross functional projects and liaise cross-functionally to identify opportunities and projects that deliver increased efficiency and value to our department and customers.
Qualifications
Qualification Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 6+ years of relevant experience, with minimally 3 years’ experience in HR (Employee Relations and/or Business HR experience preferred)
+ 3+ years reporting and analytics (including dashboards, scorecards) experience, preferably including HR reporting experience (e.g., HRIS and/or case management system reporting)
+ 2+ years process improvement experience
+ 2+ years project management experience desired
+ Strong ability to download, manage, organize and present data in a meaningful, efficient manner
+ Strong ability to identify key impacts/finding from data sets, and create linkages across data and processes
+ Able to influence across teams and collaborate well with cross-functional partners
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills and process orientation; detail oriented
+ Strong HR and business acumen
+ Committed to working from the Lake County, IL AbbVie HQ for three days per week

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Salary: $103,500 - $197,000
