WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Investigate sensitive and/or complex employee relations matters from start to finish, including conducting intake, leading interviews, note-taking, gathering, and analyzing evidence (electronic, physical, etc.), documenting findings, and following up with the relevant parties. Discreetly handle sensitive and/or private information.Provide recommendation to HRBP and Leadership to implement the appropriate course of action, discipline, up to and including discharge, when appropriate. Provide advice, guidance, and direction for resolution.Understand and apply all legislation pertaining to Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, and other relevant municipality, state, and federal laws in conjunction with Skechers policies and procedures. Objectively debrief HR business partners and leadership on investigation findings.Collect and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations on mitigation strategies.Work with HRBP to educate, through one-on-one interactions and formal trainings, on various matters pertaining to employee relations (e.g., anti-harassment, investigation best practices, policy interpretation, proper documentation)Assist with the review of policies and procedures related to discrimination and harassment to ensure compliance with the law and alignment with best practices.Maintain case notes and data integrity in case management systems. Assist HRBP with the review of and evaluate all terminations and Corrective Action performance management; exercising great care that the reasons are well documented and are not arbitrary or discriminatory. Assign Bindy compliance audits, ensure through field management that proper State, Federal and SKX are posted in all associates work areas.Manage third party compliance line communication and resolution.Assist legal department in response to EEOC Claims, Unemployment Hearings etc.Assist HRBP by conducting Exit Interviews for store managers and district managers.WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Answering questions and explaining policies and procedures and encouraging the use of corrective action planning or coaching.Multi-task in a high-energy fast paced work environment.Maintains manager and employee confidence and protects reputation and corporate integrity by: Keeping information confidential.Must have previous employee relations experience with working knowledge of Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, and other relevant municipalities, state, and federal laws.Five years’ experience independently conducting complex workplace investigations.Experience creating, implementing, and providing workplace training.Subject Matter Expertise in conducting complex, confidential fact-finding investigations and analyses.Strong interpersonal skills, with emphasis on listening and communicating clearly and succinctly.Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and conflict management skills.Must be computer literate, with knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet, and email applications.Ability to read, understand and execute human resources related reports, policies, and initiatives.Travel as needed to conduct sensitive investigations.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent desired.Professional HR certification(s) or working towards completion (e.g. PHR, SHRM-CP) desired.3-5 years of work experience in providing human resources services, preferably in a retail/multi-unit/multi-state environment.Must have working knowledge of employment laws and/or regulations in various states where assigned.Must be Tech/Computer Savvy, with knowledge of Microsoft Suite and various HRIS software desired.$110k-$140k/Annually
