Responsibilities:
Leading and managing an agile software engineering team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance. Growing, managing and coaching the existing team and successfully driving recruitment (together with HR). Effectively driving an agile software development process across several software engineering teams, overseeing requirements definition, product build, delivery, and successful product launches. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration within the engineering organization. Promote a team culture that prioritizes quality and innovation, staying abreast of the latest technologies and determining their optimal application to meet business needs. Working closely with other department heads and Product management to lead the implementation of a comprehensive and integrated product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals. Work closely with Product Management to define and prioritize the engineering roadmap. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on project progress and objectives. Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Advancing the design and architecture of the products utilizing the newest technologies and tools, to continually evolve the product line. Qualifications:
At least 2+ years of Software development leadership experience Hands-on experience with delivering SaaS products Proficiency in using Jira and Git Strong technical background in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and modern programming languages. Communication skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for diverse stakeholders. Track record of success in job performance and progression and the proven ability to both build credibility with senior management team as well as motivating teams Significant depth in software development in a fast-paced, growing SaaS company, including having shipped multiple cloud products
