Position Summary
Responsible for operationalizing Effective Challenge, Oversight and Reporting disciplines within Enterprise Risk Management. Responsible for providing credible challenge to risk management programs in front line units, as well as monitoring consistency of independent risk management program execution. Creates regular reporting on risk governance framework effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and maturity of the effective challenge and oversight programs within Enterprise Risk Management, ensuring consistent execution of risk governance framework and underlying programs across front line units and independent risk management.
Implement risk program assurance activities to support conclusions on risk governance framework effectiveness.
Operationalize periodic reporting to management, committees and the Board on risk governance program effectiveness.
Develop and implement ongoing training for first- and second-line stakeholders on relevant programs.
Develop and maintain policy and documentation for ERM programs and relevant policies, procedures, and job aides.
Remain knowledgeable about the enterprise risks areas across the bank, including areas of cross organizational risk and concentration risk.
Support implementation of strategic and reputational risk management disciplines in 2nd Line.
Provides support for special projects and initiatives as appropriate.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field required; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in GRC Tool implementation and management. Program management experience with enterprise-wide impact.
Project management experience with large, multi-phased projects, system implementations and administration experience a plus.
Experience/knowledge of compliance and risk management concepts, regulatory and audit control standards a plus.
Consultative aptitude to support cross-organizational GRC goals and objectives
Ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines and interact with employees at all levels.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
This is role has a hybrid work schedule and can be based in our Southington, CT, Stamford, CT or White Plains, NY office.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $110,000 USD to $135,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
