Ethics & Compliance promotes a culture that encourages ethical conduct and a commitment to compliance. This function implements strategies and processes to ensure adherence to policies, educates and trains employees across the organization, and conducts investigations to resolve ethics and compliance issues.
Ethics & Compliance develops and implements strategies and standard operating procedures to promote adherence to internal ethics and compliance policies related to areas such as privacy, HIPAA and FCPA, among others. This job family resolves concerns from business unit leaders and employees and proactively provides guidance and trainings on policies.
Manager, Ethics and Compliance
Reporting to the Compliance Director, this position is responsible for supporting the programmatic requirements for Cardinal Health's Compliance Program. Particular areas of focus include: compliance training, policy development, exclusion screening tracking, management of investigations and development of programmatic presentation materials. Areas of expertise should include: education development and implementation, strong communication skills, and expert-level functionality with regulatory laws related to healthcare compliance.
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day compliance matters and policy questions.Maintain, develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.Support Cardinal Health's compliance training program including: content creation, trainee enrollment, delivery, tracking, reporting and corrective action.Conduct and manage compliance investigations.Track the exclusion screening process.Maintain progressive corrective action outcomes for training and historical purposes.Assist the Director in the development and creation of Compliance Committee and other presentation materials, newsletters and compliance communications.Assist with development and implementation of compliance program document management and reporting systems.Other duties as assigned.
